My almost 5-year old daughter loves her Leo the Lion Bluebee pal. It is cute, soft, and snuggly, it is a great stuffed animal even without the added interactive features. I have to admit that when it comes to setting up anything electronic, I usually delegate the task to my husband, but this one was so easy that I was able to do it myself. Bluebee Pals company has an easy to follow YouTube video that explains how to set it up. There are many videos on YouTube that explain how to use it as well. Once set up, the app has many educational games and activities for young children. My daughter especially loved recording her voice and listening to her pal repeat it back to her. It is basically a speaker inside the lion that plays anything that you play on your phone or tablet. You can also use it to pick up phone calls, which is another feature that my daughter really enjoys, as the lion moves it’s mouth as it plays the phone call. Overall, I recommend this for young children, and adults alike. My husband and I have a blast playing with this toy as well.

My 4 year old son absolutely adores his Blue Bee Pal! The Blue Bee Pal is well made, the stitching and fabric really impressed me. Setup was very easy! My 4 year old loves the Blue Bee Pals app. We also use the Blue Bee Pal for speech therapy apps as well. We have had a lot of fun with this cute puppy!

The puppy bluebee pal is super cute. He is soft and his ears are just so floppy and cuddly. It was so easy to set up, I just opened up his velcro back turned him on and set him up on my daughter's iPad though bluetooth. She loves how his mouth moves along to music or app she's playing on. She also loves playing on the bluebee app. I really like how she can rest the tablet on the puppy's lap and he doesn't topple over. Great educational tool and cuddly too.

This product is adorable and fun! It's great for my preschooler, but even my 7 and 9 year olds love it! It's great to use with different learning apps. I think it's great because it's a wonderful way to make learning creative and fun. My kids have had a lot of fun playing music on it too! The charge on it seems to last a long time. We haven't tried the phone calling feature on it yet, as we've only connected it to an iPad so far. My only complaint is all the recommended apps in the brochure for this procure are ones you have to pay for. When it comes to learning apps and games, I prefer ones you can get for free.

This is an awesome device! Our kids loved it! We can't wait to explore using it with more apps!

My 3 year old son loved this for a few days and then seems to have forgotten about it. It is pretty much a speaker that moves its mouth when any sound comes from your device, so to me it wasn’t that cool. I thought it would be more interactive and useful. It works best with the app that it comes with and my son did enjoy playing that. It is also larger than I expected and now we have another stuffed animal laying around that takes up space.

Quickly lost interest for 3 year old (watches screen and ignores the puppy) We got the puppy version of the Bluebee Pals Pro for our 3.5 year old son. When I first showed him "look! the puppy talks!" he was very excited. We synced it to his Kindle Fire (very simple process) and opened some of his Disney Learn+Read apps to have the puppy read the story to him. But within 30 seconds of starting… his head drooped from the puppy's mouth to watch the screen itself. The concept is cool… but it's not "exciting" enough to hold his attention. It essentially just becomes a (somewhat annoying) Bluetooth speaker. I say somewhat annoying because as the head and mouth move, you can hear it opening and closing and moving. In all, I think he still gets some enjoyment playing with the stuffed animal (as I'm writing this, he was telling me "the puppy is sick!" so we turned on a Doctor McStuffens video to stick with the theme. But the options (puppy included) really aren't that "cute". They're just average in quality and design and seems very overpriced for what it actually does. We haven't synced our Bluebee Pals to our iPhone to try out the recommended app, so maybe there are some unique features there which makes the system more engaging, but using the dozens of apps on his Kindle, the colorful, moving display is much more engrossing. NOTE: I received the Bluebee Pals – Winston the Puppy for free as part of the hey, bullseye program in exchange for my honest review. This did not in any way impact my opinion of this product.

Introducing Teddy Ruxpins handsome young grandson!! At first, my kids didn't realize that Winston the Bluebee pal had other capabilities apart from being a fairly large, squishy, cuddly stuffed animal dog. They thought he was pretty awesome as is. We figured out that he functions essentially as a Bluetooth speaker. Our favorite function so far is just to set him up in the kids' room as a speaker playing their favorite music from our amazon prime accounts. We already have an echo dot upstairs, but not in their rooms. They get a kick out of it. His mouth doesn't sync perfectly, but the sound quality is surprisingly good. I got around to downloading the app and found the simple activities fairly entertaining and somewhat educational. Geared for the the 3-5 age range, at least for my family. We have yet to explore usage with their our leap pad tablets. One of the best features is that it can pair easily with any platform. Everything was extremely easy to set up and use. Personally, I never had Teddy Ruxpins (spell??) as a kid, but remember being jealous of friends who had him. This is like Teddy Ruxpin's grandson. I think it will be what other creative ways we can use this product.
