Students from The Jessie Baker School and Their Bluebee Pals

Kayle Concepts and our Bluebee Pals were invited on Wednesday October 7 to create a educational documentary at the Jessie Baker School( special needs) in Elk Grove, California. The purpose of the documentary was to show the “crucial” importance of technology in opening the door to communication for many special needs children, especially children diagnosed with Autism. This documentary will be released later this month.

What do you get when you take one innovative, do what’s best for kids Principal (Cindee Shapton), one Interactive Toy Inventor and business woman supreme (Laura Jiencke); one Tech Loving, App Promoting, Networker Extraordinaire (Jackie Bryla),one passionate Assistive Technology Speech-Language Pathologist, one talented photographer/videographer (Debbie Klenzman Carlson), 50 great students (Jessie Baker Elk Grove), taught by 15 of the best special educators (Pamela Heer Cohn, Nikki Castaneda, Jessica McFarland, Cathleen Bailey, Sandy Murphy-Gallegos, Rebecca Tam Madeira, Cheryl Standring Rafferty, Barbara Butcher Loof, Karen Domingo, Jamie Morgan, Linda Frechette, Erica Ramirez, Susan, Gretchen and Victoria; and bring them together with some great apps (Speak for Yourself Heidi LoStracco and Renee Collender) and the engaging, interactive Bluebee Pals?

It was a dream come true for me to bring together so many passionate women and educators who think outside the box and are determined to give every student the right to accessible, appropriate, individualized and independence providing education.
