Bluebee Pals a must have for your education and personal toolbox.
As an Occupational Therapy Practitioner on the go, traveling between schools, I am always looking for interactive toys that make learning fun for children with disabilities. The Bluebee Pal takes a standard app and turns it into something very real and tangible for these kids who so often have few friends and opportunities to communicate.
The interactions between the child and the Bluebee Pal are priceless. Instead of just listening to the directions on the app, the child responds to the Bluebee Pal, increasing social egagement and communication skills. You can actually see a real connnection between this super plush toy and a child.
I personally tried the Bluebee Pal with a handwriting app (Start Dot App )and had great results. The app has a strong story based style of learning. The Bluebee Pal was there just like a good friend, teacher, or therapist would be. It literally walks the child through each formation of each letter.
As a mother of 5 kids, when using the Bluebee Pal with my own children, we all enjoyed making telephone calls with the Bluebee Pal. The Bluebee Pal makes a standard phone call really come to life. There were lots of laughs and engaging conversations made with the Bluebee Pal. One of the best features on the Bluebee Pal for my kids was the ability to stream music. Watching the Bluebee Pal sing to my children’s favorite singers, like Taylor Swift, was so much fun! Not only did the Bluebee Pal engage my children in singing, laughing and dancing, but it brought new life to a song they had heard a hundred times.
Now whenever a new friend comes to visit, the first words out of my daughters mouth is, “You have to meet my new friend, it’s a Bluebee Pal”. I would definitely recommend the Bluebee Pals as a must have for your education and personal toolbox. It really helps to keep children engaged with learning and social experiences.
